More on Ms. Kasani-Akula:
Pragathi enjoys learning science and doing research. She was honored to receive the 1st Grand Award in Biochemistry at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in 2025. She also earned 1st place at the National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) and received Honors in the National Chemistry Olympiad. Pragathi enjoys sharing her love of science with others and taught Epidemiology to middle school students. In 2025, she was invited to attend the Nobel Prize Ceremony and Nobel Week lectures in Stockholm, Sweden.

Pragathi graduated from South Forsyth High School in Cumming, Georgia. She will attend Harvard College this fall, where she looks forward to continuing to learn and contribute through science.
